ETC (electron transport chain) is a major generator of ATP, in ETC final processing of electron and hydrogen ions occur. This is the last step in both types of respiration. ETS contains some special redox carriers which receive electrons from NADH (nicotinamide dinucleotide with hydrogen) or FADH2 (flavin adenine dinucleotide with 2 molecules of hydrogen).
