The osmosis procedure is of great significance in the physiology of biological cell since the cell membrane is semipermeable in nature.
Given: We are given Ringer’s lactate solution which has Na+ (130mEq/L), K+ (4mEq/L), Ca2+ (3 mEq/L), Cl- (109 mEq/L), lactate- (28 mEq/L), and glucose (50 g/L). We are asked to find out the total positive and total negative charge of the electrolytes. We also need to find the osmolarity of the solution.
