Chapter 9.2, Problem 3CC
Summary Introduction
To determine:
The complementary strand of a DNA strand that is 5’-GATTCGTTC-3’.
Introduction
The nitrogenous bases are classified into primarily two types: purines and pyrimidines. A purine base contains a double-ring, and a pyrimidine base has a single ring unit. Purines are further divided into two subtypes: Adenine (A) and Guanine (G). Whereas, a pyrimidine is of three types: Thymine (T), Cytosine (c) and Uracil (U).
