A piece of foam has a mass of 24.3g and a volume of 7.21 x1^5 mm^3. What is the density of the foam in g/cm^3? Report answer in thousandths place
PROCEDURE
1. On a clean, dry, and flat surface, place a parchment paper, or any non-porous flat sheet.
2. Obtain your medicine tablet. Take note of its mass. [Note: Since this is home experiment and that you might not have a weighing scale at home, assume that given mass of the tablet is pure, with any excipient/(s). For example, a 500 mg ascorbic acid will have a mass of 500 mg as indicated.]
3. Pulverize the tablet into fine powder and trransfer it in a clean and dry vessel or bottle.
5. Add the necessary amount of distilled water to make the desired concentration of stock solution assigned to your group. [Note: Assume that the volume of the solute is negligible compared to the volume of the solution.]
Concentration of STOCK SOLUTION, M
Concentration of DILUTED SOLUTION, M
0.8 M
0.16 M
6. Make sure to place the computations used in the data sheet.
