Case summary:
The couple Person P and Person PS started City W physician practice in 2000 in City W. It is started to provide primary care services to the community. There were more patients to see and more clinics popped up when City W had a burst of growth and development. The clinic that can serve faster gets more patients. The revenues of physician practice center go down in 2015 due to competition. They started losing their patients to City W FastTrack physician practice.
Thus, it is necessary to rethink about the strategy, as old strategy is not going to work anymore. Person P recently read an article regarding implementing lean approach in physician practice to increase the revenue and retain the patients.
