There is details on fireworks. It is a survey for sampling. The population is all fireworks produced every day and the percentage of duds is the metric of interest.

In the survey, the sampling process is not explicitly defined, but the researcher can apply the method of stratified random sampling by arbitrary selecting tested fireworks. By using stratified random sampling methodology, there has different kinds of fireworks that it is need to separate different types of fireworks to test some of the fireworks. By using a random sample approach, producers will conclude the proportion of duds for the entire output of the day and the effect is that researchers determine whether or not the output of the day is sufficient for that.
