Explanation of Solution

During the condensation process, the energy of the substance reduces or energy moves towards higher energy state (gas)tolower energy state (liquid).

Thus, when a gas undergoes condensation, it changes from gas to liquid state. The molecules tend to come close and intermolecular distance between them decreases. This results in decrease in the energy of the molecule.

Thus, energy is transferred from gas in the condensation process.
