Don’t Hold Your Breath Imagine that you've been hired by a group of parents to educate younger children about vaping. Understandably, they think that the warnings about vaping dangers would be better received coming from a teenager than from a parent (and they're probably right)! Instructions: Complete the assignment by following the directions given below. Step One—Conduct Some Research The content of your presentation must include the following: What vaping is and how it works How advertisers target teens and children Why it is unhealthy and what are some common risks/consequences Advice on how to deal with peer pressure to try vaping You'll need to conduct some research to prepare the above. Your final product will include a list of the sources you used. For each source, indicate the following: The name of the book, article, or website (include the url if it's a website) The author, if given The date the book or article was written, or the approximate date the website was built (year only is fine) Step Two—Complete Your Presentation Select the format for your digital presentation. A digital presentation can be a digital poster, slide show, brochure, or other graphic program. Once the digital presentation is complete, you can submit the file that contains your final design. For guidance and samples, you can search sites like Pinterest™ or look for a template on the web or in your software program. Label or highlight the resources you have used for the project. For example, you may use a slide in a presentation or a panel in a brochure to list your resources used for the project.
Vaping and how it works? It is a battery and contains many chemicals that cause more fatalities. It contains more than 30 other chemicals. When the chemicals are inhaled, they enter the lungs and bloodstream. https://ww.thefactsnow.com/vaping How advertisers target teens and children? Teens often don’t see and read about vaping so when they see them at the store ,store clerks don't have any signs that say this is bad. They have more cigarette signs rather than signs of vaping So that's how advertisers
target teens because they barely have no vaping signs up How advertisers target younger audiences? Advertisers are targeting teens because teens rarely see or read about vaping, so when teens see vape products at the store, the store clerk doesn’t have any bad vape signs. Instead, the store clerk has more cigarette signs than vape signs. . https://online.csp.edu/ resources/article/ marketing-to-children/ #:~:text=Marketers%2 0can%20apply%20child %20psychology,messagin g%20to%20reach%20kid %20consum
