Post a total of 3 substantive responses over 2 separate days for full participation. This includes your initial post and 2 replies to classmates or your faculty member.
Due Day 3
Marketing strategies are used to promote products and services. Many companies have discovered their customers indicate that ethics and social responsibility matter when choosing products.
Select 1 company that uses ethical behavior as a marketing strategy. Consider the effect it has on the company.
Respond to the following in a minimum of 175 words:
How does the company you selected distinguish between social responsibility and ethical and legal issues in their marketing strategy?
What is the value to the company of communicating ethical behavior to the public?
Due Day 7
Post 2 replies to classmates or your faculty member. Be constructive and professional.
Response:
The company that i have selected is a online clothing company. The company is an affordable women's clothing business. Social responsibility within this business is to understand the appreciation of what it takes to support women and the rights that they are entitled to. A company who claims to support women are considered high value. Legal issues could be an
angry client whom is not content with product and decides to give the owner a hard time. The marketing aspect of it is that they can fight that what was advertised is not the items purchased. In a case like of this business with the
shop being online only.
The value to this company for communicating ethical behavior to the public is to demonstrate the importance of being transparent to the customers and make it known how important it is to be honest by being an affordable company.
The name of the company being Candid Lux reflect a lot on the reasoning behind it. The ultimate goal is to continue supporting women for more years to come.
