Cover Girl is a nationally known brand when it comes to make-up. Proctor and Gamble back Cover Girl and expect results from their revenue stream. Cover Girl produces revenue when
sold and marketed in department stores. Cover Girl is known for being sold in low end department stores, drug stores, and even some convenience stores. Marketing Cover Girl is very important when appealing to all age groups such as, working women, stay at home mothers, and teenagers a like. Cover Girl promotes its products in TV commercials, bill boards, and the all too
famous word of mouth. Working women want a long lasting product for all day wear, teenagers want that youthful non clumping make-up, and mothers want youthful long lasting make-up for the all-day struggle with children and house work. Cover Girl markets and promotes its products to an array of consumers with their needs in mind. Cover Girl uses an array of promotions to demonstrate and market its products. This is using young models on TV Commercials to using teenagers and mothers. This helps in promoting their product to all types of women around the world. It is important for Cover Girl to focus on its biggest buyers and appease to their needs and wants. This helps in selling their products and marketing to the appropriate audience. Teens want low prices, working women want long lasting, and mothers want youthful long lasting make-up. Cover Girl reaches these groups by listening and knowing their target market. Cover Girl communicates its products from TV Commercials, Radio, and Billboards. I know personally while watching TV on almost every channel I see a Cover Girl commercial. Who doesn’t want to look as youthful and beautiful as some of the ladies modeling their products? Cover Girl has always been successful in modeling their products to appease their audience. They have always been able to improve on their products to stay with the trends of their consumers.
