CASE ANALYSIS TITLE: TIPPING ISSUE
Serving customers with excellent service quality will give customers full satisfaction most
of the time, and give gratuity in the form of tipping. In effect, the server becomes more
diligent at work. In Leo's Bar and Grill, the waitstaff being in blue-collar jobs are receiving
below minimum wage which is allowed by the state because of tipping. Most of them are
motivated to work despite of low wage rate because of tips received from customers and
they get disappointed if they did not receive any. Because of huge expectations from the
customers, some of the waitstaff are lazy in serving guests who did not usually give tips,
worst is they ignore the guests or refuse to serve them.
