To explain: How here exists more than one
In a situation where the outcomes in the sample space have more than one distinct characteristic then more than one sample space is possible.
Example:
A situation where randomly 50 students from a college are picked who has their majors in five different subjects Mathematics, Physics, Biology, History, and Management.
Interpretation:
The 50 students selected randomly can be distinguished with respect to multiple characteristics like gender and majors subject. Thus the sample space can be with respect to gender (Male, Female) or it can also be with respect to major subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Biology, History, and Management). Thus it is possible to have more than one sample space in a situation where the possible outcomes has different distinct characteristics.
