To explain: About the unbiased sample and its impact on the study
An unbiased sample is a true representation of the population which helps to estimate the accurate results about the population parameter.
In order to study a variable of interest, a sample that is a subset of the population is considered for the study. The sample may or may not be the best representation of the population and there can be any bias in the selection process which impact the results.
A sample that is a true representation of the population and helps to estimate the population parameter of a variable of interest accurately is considered an unbiased sample. Yes, it does matter with respect to the accuracy of the results if the sample considered in the study is unbiased or not.
