Theory: It can be defined as an idea or set of principles that describe a situation or a specific phenomenon. A theory in other terms is a hypothesis that is proven to be scientifically true.

Law: A law or a scientific law can be defined as a statement that describes an observable situation in nature, which is always true. Hence, laws are already established principles, which are universal and non-variable.

Peer review: In research, peer review is a process by which proposed research is evaluated by reputed intellectuals and experts of a particular field. A peer review is an important part of research publishing as it provides extra credibility and weightage to the research.

Forensics: Forensics is described as a study of crimes by using different scientific and mathematical tools and techniques along with common knowledge to solve a crime. It generally deals with the study of the evidence.

Ethics: Ethics can be described as a set of obligations, which are defined as morally correct or incorrect in general practice. It is a philosophical description of the good and bad characterization of activities performed by humans. Ethical practices may vary in different communities, cultures, and geographical regions.
