The understanding and studying of the different aspects of a phenomenon allows science to apply these knowledge to develop new technologies.

Theory: It can be defined as the idea or set principles which describes a situation or a specific phenomenon. The theory in other terms is a hypothesis that is proven true scientifically.

Law: A law or a scientific law can be defined as a statement that describes an observable situation in nature, which is always true. Hence, the laws are already established principle, which are universal and non-variable.

Peer review: In research, the peer review is a process by which a proposed research is evaluated by reputed intellectuals and experts of a particular field. The peer review is an important part of research publishing as it provides extra credibility and weightage to the research.

Forensics: The forensics is described as the study of a crime by using different scientific and mathematical tools and techniques along with common knowledge to solve a crime. It generally deals with the study of the evidences.

Ethics: The ethics can be described as set of obligations, which are defined morally correct or incorrect in general practice. It is a philosophical descriptions of the good and bad characterization of the activities performed by humans. The ethical practices may vary in different communities, cultures and geographical regions.
