Light is a type of wave that carries energy through matter or space. Any devices used for irradiation, illumination, projection or signaling are known as lighting device.

Fluorescent light bulbs are economical. So, an economical light source in a manufacturing plant will be fluorescent light.

Neon light produces several bright colors. So, an eye-catching sign that will be visible at dark or night will be neon lights.

Halogen lamps can be used to produce high amounts of lights. So, light source at a baseball stadium will be halogen lamps.
