Why is the curl in the wire end straightened out?
The reason of curl present at wire end straightened out.
The wires and cables exist naturally in curl form. These curled wires are termed as cast in welding. It helps in performing the threading operation easily. This threading is carried out according the manufacturers' specifications by using mechanical machining tool. Wires are passed through conduit to avoid electrical short. Conduit is the pipe or channel through which electrical wires are passed. They provide a protective coating to the wires and cables used in welding. If these conduits get misaligned nearby feed roller, it will create a bird's nest structure near the roller. So, the wires should be in center of the conduit to avoid bird's nest formation near feed roller.
The wires end is straightened out in order to offer good threading...
