Probability of pulling out two quarters in a row is $\frac{1}{15}$

Given information:

He has 3 quarters, 5 dimes and 2 nickels.

Total = 3+5+2=10

Probability that he pull out a quarter first time is $\frac{3}{10}$

Probability that he pull out a quarter from remaining is $\frac{2}{9}$

(As one quarter is already taken, total left are 9)

Therefore probability of pulling out two quarters in a row $=\frac{3}{10}\cdot \frac{2}{9}=\frac{1}{15}$
