We know when the events are independent,

  $P\left(A\text{ and }B\right)=P\left(A\right)\cdot P\left(B\right)$

In case of independent events P(A|B) = P(A)

Hence we can say that the given condition is always true of the events are independent.

Therefore P(A and B) = (B and A) if the events are independent.
