Introduction:
The number of the identical movement of the particle about some mean position in unit duration is called the frequency of the particle. The distance between the consecutive maximum or minimum position of the particle is called the wavelength of the particle.
The wavelength of the particles varies with the frequency of the motion. If the frequency becomes higher then the wavelength of the particle decreases and vice-versa.
The frequency of the finger increase due to the faster move in the sink. So, the wavelength of the circular waves in the sink full of water decreases.
