Chapter 14.3, Problem 2R
Summary Introduction

To review:

The significance and activity of ribonucleic acid (RNA) polymerase during transcription.

Introduction:

Data on deoxyribonucleic (DNA) strand is rewritten on the RNA strand called the messenger RNA (mRNA) by a process termed as transcription. There are many factors that are involved in this process, ribonucleic acid polymerase or RNA pol being one of them, is essentially a holoenzyme apart from the main enzymatic unit, and it also has a coenzyme that works together to catalyze the biogenesis of a RNA molecule.
