Concept Introduction:
In the process of vaporization, molecules of liquid at a certain temperature and pressure leave the liquid state and transform to gaseous state. For molecules to vaporize from the surface of liquid require kinetic energy gained in form of heat energy.
Higher the surface area of liquid, higher will be molecules with threshold kinetic energy that leave liquid surface.
