Introduction:
The regulatory proteins that influence the transcription initiation by behaving as acting sites for promoters, enhancers, and silencers are considered as transcription factors. Transcription factors have multiple and complex effects on transcription. Some of the transcription factors can increase or some can decrease the levels of transcription.
