Introduction:

An unwanted reaction that develops by the immune system is termed as “hypersensitivity”. It involves allergy and autoimmunity. Hypersensitivity is of four types, that are type I, type II, type III and type IV. Estrogen plays an essential role in the immune response and diseases mediated by the immune system. Estrogen receptors that are located on the cells are involved in the immune responses.
