Todetermine:
The way through which a person can determine whether the rash is a type I or type IV hypersensitivity.
Introduction:
An unwanted reaction that develops an immune system is termed as “hypersensitivity”. It involves allergy and autoimmunity. Hypersensitivity is of four types that are type I, type II, type III and type IV.
The allergic reactions or type I hypersensitivity occur in some individuals with exposure to common environmental allergens. These allergic reactions occur due to enhanced activation of immune system.
The delayed type or type IV hypersensitivity, reaction occurs in two or three days. It causes cell-mediated immune responses. It acts as a major mechanism to prevent body against many intracellular viruses.
