Introduction:
A position time graph is the graphical representation of the motion of an object.
In a position time graph the position and time are plotted. The slope represents the speed of the object. Hence, as the speed is doubled, the slope will be doubled.
When the rabbit runs in the opposite direction, the position of the rabbit will be plotted in the negative y-axis representing direction. The slope will represent the speed.
Conclusion:
As rabbit doubles, the speed the slope of the graph is doubled. If the rabbit ran in the opposite direction, the graph would be plotted for the position on the negative y-axis.
