Introduction:

The slope of the position-time graph gives the speed of the dog. The dog starts with some initial speed and stops after moving some distance. The speed of the dog decreases, so the slope of the position time graph is negative.

The slope of the speed time graph gives the acceleration of the dog.

The speed of the dog describes the slope of the position-time graph. The curve of the position-time graph is the line with negative slope of 0.55m/s . The position-time graph is given below,
