Introduction:
Epstein Barr virus is also known as the Human herpesvirus 4 (HHV4). It belongs to the family of herpes virus which is a very common virus found in humans. It is associated with many chronic diseases like cancer, such as gastric cancer, nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Epstein- Barr virus infects the B-lymphocytes of the immune system and epithelial cells.
