To determine:

The damages caused by the introduction of the exotic organism (fungus) in the forest of United States that caused Dutch elm disease of plants and determine what other fungal pests fall into this category. Explain why the parasitic fungi are particularly to be transported out of their natural habitat and what government could do to limit this importation.

Introduction:

Some pathogenic fungi are known to cause diseases in plants and animals. Pathogenic fungi damage plants and crops which are economically important and cause the destruction of landscape and forests.
