Summary Introduction
To explain: The evidence so as to explain a new mother that measles vaccine (MMR vaccine) is safe and effective.
Introduction:
Measles is a contagious disease that spreads through air and is caused by paramyxo virus. It starts with fever and tiny red spots like rashes on skin. The most affected are children who are less than one year old. It can be prevented by measles vaccine known as MMR vaccine. It protects against three disease conditions- measles, mumps, and rubella.

Herd immunity means that the entire population (not just those who are vaccinated) are protected from a disease. What is one way that herd immunity protects an unvaccinated person (such as an infant who is too young to be vaccinated or a person who is immunocompromised)?
It used to be that our only method of creating vaccines was to use dead or weakened pathogens. That is no longer the case - what are some newer options that are available to researchers?
How would a baby benefit from a nursing mother receiving a vaccine? Make sure you include at least two mechanisms of immunity.
