Introduction:
The male accessory glands are seminal vesicles, prostate gland, and the bulbourethral gland, and they secrete fluid known as semen that enters into the urethra. The bulbourethral glands are also known as Cowper’s gland because of their structure resembling to a small pea-sized gland. Sperm is a male gamete produced within the testes and they are haploid in nature. The sperm released during the sexual intercourse results in the fertilization process and a zygote is formed.
