Explanation

Guide-bend test:

The bending test used for testing a specimen by placing them in horizontal position. This specimen contains a double support on the root side. A horizontal force is applied in center of the supports on front face. This helps in turning the specimen into u-shape. This test is carried out to check the quality and the ductility of a specimen.
