Summary Introduction

Introduction:

The term “Clade” was given by a biologist Julian Huxley in 1957. A clade is a set of creatures that originated from the common ancestors. Examples are rodents, insects, etc. In other term, it is a set of organisms that contain only one ancestor and also all of its descendants.

Basically, clades are a technique of thinking about ‘branches of the tree of life’. The clade is an arm of a 'family tree' that is characterized using a cladogram. A cladogram is only a collection of several clades that are conjoined to signify relations between organisms.
