Introduction:
Fish that have lobed fins are called ‘lobed-fins fish’. Lobed-fin fishes are also termed as Sarcopterygii or sometimes Crossopterygii. A lobed-fin fish is a clade that contains tetrapods, coelacanths, lungfishes, etc. The characteristics feature of lobed-fin fishes are pectoral and pelvic (paired) fins that are articulated through the same bone with the pectoral and pelvic girdle.
