An ancient species' Lungfish can breathe oxygen directly from the air. They have 1 or 2 lungs andare considered as primitive living fishes.
In the world, one of the oldest species of fish is Coelacanth. This species belongs to theSubclass Actinistia. They are mostly related to Tetrapods and lungfishes. They are deep-sea creatures and have adifferent form of locomotion. The first living Coelacanth is Latimeriachalumnae was discovered in 1938.
