The larger the shape of a stream lesser will be the speed of flow and vice-versa.
Explanation of Solution
The shape of a stream greatly influences speed of the flow. If the shape of a stream is large then the area of contact for the flowing water will be more. Hence, friction will be more between the water and the channel which will slow the stream speed.
Similarly, if the shape of a stream is small then the area of contact for the flowing water will be less. Hence, friction will be less between the water and the channel. Due to which the flow will be faster.

Therefore, the larger the shape of a stream lesser will be the speed of flow and vice-versa.
