The ultrasounds are the sound frequency, which is upper than the human audible range of sound frequency. Many animals produce and are able to sense these frequencies.
Explanation of Solution
The ultrasound is a sound frequency, so it can be detected by the nearby organism present. The animals may use the frequency as the warning source when the predators are not able to hear the sound frequency that falls in ultrasonic range.
