Chapter 32, Problem 2Q
Summary Introduction
To review:
The advantage and disadvantage of oviparous and viviparous reproductions.
Introduction:
Oviparous animals lay eggs and the development of young ones takes place inside these eggs, which hatch into the young animals. Examples of oviparous animals include birds, most reptiles, and amphibians. The embryonic development in viviparous animals takes place inside the body of mother, and mother directly gives birth to the young ones. Examples of viviparous animals include most mammals including humans.
