To review:
The differences between new- and old-world monkeys.
Introduction:
The diversification of the old- and new-world monkeys, and tarsiers took place after the mass extinction that happened at the end of the Cretaceous period. The diversification of the new-world monkeys occurred from the old-world monkeys as they traveled from Africa to South America when the two continents were attached to each other. The new-world monkeys are now found only in South and Central America.
