To discuss: A condition in which a person cannot feel pain and whether it is desirable or undesirable.
Introduction: Congenital pain insensitivity (CIP) is one or more rare cases in which a person is unable to feel. It is a disorder that impedes the perception of physical pain. Since birth, people affected never feel pain in any part of their bodies when they are injured.
Explanation of Solution
Nobody likes pain but it's an incredibly useful alarm system. Without it, the mind doesn't remember an accident and it will not go to take steps to get rid of its origin. People with this disorder were known to develop awful infections, to mutilate themselves accidentally, and to dislocate their joints away.
Thus, this rare condition is undesirable because pain is the way in which our bodies warn us to be careful.
