Putting different values of $x$ in the above stated equation to derive corresponding values of $y$ and arranging the data in a table,

As most of the customers come during first hour, $\therefore$ the earning for working during first hour is highest and for the rest of hours earnings are incremented by $5$ in each succession as there is not much work to do thereafter.
