The cells that consist of membrane-bound organelles, and nucleus and it is enclosed by a plasma membrane is called eukaryotic cells. Organisms that possess eukaryotic cells are called eukaryotic organism. For example, fungi, protozoa, and animals. The most prominent external structure observed in the cells of eukaryotes is referred to as flagella and cilia. They are important for motility.
