Chapter 5.6, Problem 2CC
Summary Introduction
Mitochondria, hydrogenosomes, and chloroplast are three key energy conserving organelles in the cell. All these organelles are believed to be derived from bacteria. These organelles are thought to be ingested by ancestors of eukaryotes. Therefore, mitochondria, hydrogenosomes, and chloroplast received great interest due to their evolutionary history.
