The vertex of the triangle is point the intersection of the two given lines.

Equations:

$x+2y=6$

$2x+y=9$

Calculation:

Let,

Now, Subtract equation ( ii ) from $2\times$ equation ( i ),

$\begin{array}{l}\Rightarrow 2(x+2y)-(2x+y)=2\times 6-9\\ \Rightarrow 2x+4y-2x-y=12-9\\ \Rightarrow 3y=3\\ \Rightarrow y=1\end{array}$

Substituting the value of y in equation ( i ),

$\begin{array}{l}\Rightarrow x+2\times 1=6\\ \Rightarrow x=4\end{array}$

Conclusion:

Hence, the co-ordinate of the vertex is (4, 1).
