Introduction:

Certain neurons in the Central Nervous system make use of norepinephrine as neurotransmitter, which in turn stimulates or regulates general behavior functions. This mental arousal sense is triggered by amphetamines that stimulate pathways through which norepinephrine can be used as neurotransmitter. It can also elevate blood pressure which is dangerous for humans.
