Introduction:
The total number of bones present in a human adult is 206, however, infants seem to have a greater number of bones, thereby causing differences in the number of bones between each individual. This is because babies have their bones separated by cartilage, in which later when they start growing up the bones fuse together by ossification, forming a single bone.
