Interpretation:
The change in the amount of gaseous particles when location is changed is to be determined.
Concept Introduction:
When the temperature or pressure or volume of a gas changes then the arrangement of gas particles also changes. A decrease in pressure, at constant temperature, increases the volume of gas. Due to this, the particles of a gas move apart and density of gas decreases. If the temperature of a gas decreases at constant pressure, the volume of the gas decreases. Due to this, the gas particles come closer to each other.
