Question
Chapter 9, Problem 25QP
Interpretation Introduction
Interpretation:
Measurement of pressure is to determined.
Concept Introduction:
Pressure is the measure of momentum transferred between the molecules per unit area. It is of two types: Atmospheric Pressure and Gauge Pressure. Atmospheric pressure is the pressure exerted by the molecules of air in the atmosphere to the Earth’s surface. Gauge pressure is the pressure exerted by fluid molecules that exceed atmospheric pressure. The total pressure that is a sum of atmospheric pressure and gauge pressure is known as absolute pressure.
