Edwan 1 Jehad Edwan MGMT 3720 Doug Killough November 27, 2023 Organizational Behavior Theory One of the most notable Organizational Behavior theories, whereby team members work collaboratively and make joint decisions, is referred to as "the collegial model". This idea aligns with my thoughts on creating a vibrant workplace that promotes good relations among workers. I will discuss the components of the collegial model, which coincides with my views and those that pose difficulties. Furthermore, I will discuss my anticipated use of insights from the collegial model towards teamwork dynamics and fostering a cohesiveness culture in any organization in the real world. Alignment with Personal Beliefs I believe that the collegiality model aligns with my view on what it takes to make an organization successful through effective group cooperation and cohesion. The model of this approach entails a flat organizational structure wherein all team members are equally empowered with the decision-making authority, creating an atmosphere of shared responsibility (Wibowo, 6). Therefore, this approach ensures employee involvement, is creative, and cultivates ownership of the team's results. Handling conflicting skills, work styles, and different types of diversity takes an enormous effort and even more advanced processes for solving disagreements. Application in Real-world Settings The collegial model is vital for fostering organizational teamwork and collaboration despite posing challenges (Wibowo, 6). Regarding my future role as a team leader, I expect to implement the principles of the collegial model through an inclusive decision-making process. Open communication channels and a constant input from colleagues may result in a more cooperative atmosphere. The use of the collegial model will be instrumental in such complex and evolving work environments. This calls for establishing strategies that promote skills building and address cases of difference in expertise. Enhancing Team Dynamics My approach towards using implications drawn from the collegial model will aim to improve teamwork and create an environment conducive to collaboration. My goal is to promote a conducive environment for all team members to be engaged in the process while using collective strength at the same time. Regular team-building exercises, training, and feedback procedures contribute to a positive team culture. Adopting the collegial model could motivate the
