least 60 milligrams of iron per day for sound health. These nutrients can be obtained from meat and vegetable
products. Each kilogram of meat cost an average of P90 and contains an average of 150 grams of protein
and 15 milligrams of iron while each kilogram of vegetables cost P22.50 and has 10 grams of protein and 5
milligrams of iron. He wants to determine the quantities of food that meet the nutritional requirements at least
cost.
